Infinite Practices, Few Basic Principles: How Seasoned Teachers Build Meaningful Yoga Classes That Hook Their Students AVAILABLE

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

With so much information available to teachers, it can seem overwhelming to create meaningful classes that feel like your own. You don’t have to rely solely on the formulas you learned in teacher training to get out of that teaching rut. Join The Art of Teaching Yoga mentors, Coral Brown and Giselle Mari, for a full-day workshop for teachers that will demystify the process of creating classes that are effective and inspiring for you and your students. By leading 30-minute practices leading to one pose, Coral and Giselle will show you that their different teaching styles have similar and basic common principles. Through in-depth group discussions and workshopping your questions throughout the day, you’ll discover how to apply these principles to design solid sequences, understand how to offer verbal cues and hands-on assists, handle injury prevention and management, and integrate philosophy more fully. Don’t miss this opportunity to simplify and unpack the process of developing your unique teaching style and creating balanced classes that keep students coming back to learn more.

If you are attending this workshop and would like to enjoy two mentorship sessions with Coral and Giselle, we invite you to join The Art of Teaching Yoga. It includes three days of teacher-curated classes to help you develop your skills as a teacher. Visit YogaJournal.com/Events for more info.
